VertoLink is a cloud-based logistics platform that helps manufacturers and retailers track inventory, anticipate disruptions, and identify alternative shipping routes using AI. As the company prepared to enter the market, the challenge was to create a visual identity that could make a complex, technology-driven service feel clear, credible, and approachable.

How do you visually communicate an AI-powered logistics platform without making it feel overly technical or impersonal?

VertoLink operates in a technical B2B environment where complex logistics and AI concepts need to be communicated quickly. I explored visual systems used by SaaS, logistics and technology brands to identify a visual language that could make the product feel both intelligent and approachable.

The initial exploration focused on translating VertoLink’s core ideas: optimization, connection, movement, and technology, into a simple and scalable mark. I explored typographic treatments, abstract geometric forms, and visual references to routing and optimization before refining the strongest direction.

The final direction balanced technological precision with visual simplicity. The geometric form could suggest movement and connectivity without tying the brand to a literal transportation icon, giving VertoLink a mark that could extend beyond logistics into its broader technology offering.

The identity was designed as a flexible system rather than a collection of individual assets, allowing the same visual language to translate across digital, marketing, presentation, and physical environments.

The resulting identity gave VertoLink a cohesive visual language for communicating a complex technology offering across B2B marketing, digital platforms, presentations, social media, and physical environments.
